Double Digit Day!!!

This past week was kind of stressful and I was not feeling great. But I tried to keep my chin up and continue along on my path to a healthier me. I had a few days (3) that I felt HUNGRY!! And no amount of water or exercise or "keep my mind off of eating" did any good. On those days I ate over my caloric range just a little bit just to take the edge off and tried to not allow guilt to set in. I made sure I got ALL of that water in. I even found myself wanting water a few times. And that is a miracle in itself because I am NOT a water drinker.

I climbed on that scale today and BINGO!! I made it to double digits. I am so happy. The excitement was enough to get me through a stressful day at work with the kids and head off to the gym. I did my regular routine (treadmill) and added a new machine for me as well. And now as I sit here relaxing and exhausted in my living room, I am thinking about how proud I am of myself. I earned these new workout shorts this week. emoticon

    Sometimes it's ok if you go over your calorie intake as long as you're eating the nutritious food your body needs and your other days you still eat right but not over....remember things even out over time.....
