getting back on track!!

I have been sliping abit the weight is sneaking back. Not alot I have kept alot of my good habits in place. I am living life going to parties eating cake and ice cream enjoying burgers and potato salad. My over all being needed to just enjoy things like smores and score bars. I have had my fun have not done to much damage and going back to tracking and everything else that will get me to one of my goals of weighing under 200 lb. i am now around 235 need to work hard on the next 35lb . I know how to do it just need to keep the extra stuff out of my mouth. I will start tracking again and if there is room for a roasted marshmellow then so be it.

    You can do it!! You had your sneaky fun (as I did back in April/May). But don't slip. Get right back up. And remember, we can have one bad thing every now and again. Can't deprive ourselves. But our goals long term goals are so much more important than that snack.

    If I can, anyone can. Trust me! :D

    I don't know anyone who has tried to lose weight who hasn't slipped a time... or like me... a thousand times. You are smart for not letting it get further. I'm back on track myself after 4 days of slipping...

    Keep partying and living life!! You are doing so great... so you obviously already know how to handle situations!

    Well I'm glad you're enjoying life and the summer! I've slipped a bit too...just got back from my nutritionist appointment with a gain of three pounds in a month (not thrilled)...

    I now have to be held more accountable...which I know I can do....I just need to do it!

    Guess I'm back to tracking my food like a crazy woman and annoying everyone in the process....but hey, it's my health and as much fun as this slacking thing has been, I felt much better when I was trying to be healthy.....

    You sounds like me! There's too much to enjoy in the summer, and I will NOT be at camp and not have a s'more! You have a great attitude, and I know you'll have no problem getting thins back on track!

    I found a trick that sort of works for me when I know I'm going to over indulge -- might work for you too:

    Pick everything you want to eat and put it on your plate, but only eat HALF of it. Half a burger, half the ice cream, half a slice of cake. It's not perfect, but it is always HALF the calories. The key is not to fill up a second plate :)

    Great attitude! Summer is chock full of temptation, no reason though why we can't plan and track a special treat every now and then. emoticon emoticon
