Sometimes exercise really pays off.

My husband and I usually chat once while I'm at work each day since we work really different schedules. Usually I step outside my office so as to not bother my coworkers while I take a personal call, and I just stand outside. Well, today I decided to take a walk around the building and get a tiny bit of exercise in.

I walked by another company's door and found a baggie of money! Not a huge amount, just a couple of bucks, but cash is cash.

Being a good person and all, I went into the other business and asked if it had been left out for any particular reason, but no one claimed it. So now I'm the proud new owner of $7. That's not getting me far and it's not like I *need* it or anything, but I couldn't help but smile about the idea of exercise really paying. Haha =)

With that said, despite waking up feeling "skinny", I only lost .2 pounds this week - exercise didn't actually pay off in that respect. If there was a race for the slowest weight loss, I'd totally win. But slow and steady is totally going to win this race.

I think the $7 was a higher power's way of giving you a higher pay off this week to keep you excited and motivated to keep at it. Slow and steady will get you there!!!

Agreed. Any weight loss is good ;-) Normal people can't drop huge pounds every week like they do on the Biggest Loser... Normal people have jobs and lives to live... Normal people don't have Bob and Jillian... and slow and steady is less likely to rebound and gain weight back :) You got this!

As long as the weight is coming off, then you are on the right track. Love that you take time during your day to connect with your man, so important to love and communicate with each other. :-D
