Been awhile

Not too much new here. Our big excitement has been finding a dead baby possum in our fenced in yard. Still not sure if it was our dog or it fell from a tree. So weird! It was on 4th of July night, maybe it got spooked and fell. Other then that we started looking for a car for husbands commute. He got officially hired at his job at the start of the month and we get healthcare in 22 days =)))

Food has been kinda ehhh. I was cooking from my book so much that I started getting complaints that were no meat lol So I took a week off last week and made a lot of meat. I hope to go back now start eating more plant based again. I feel like my meals are much more filling when they are lacking of meat. Cooking with more grains and alternative proteins really seem to work well for keeping a healthy weight for me.

Exercise has been good lately. My old workout buddy hit 3 dance classes with me last week. Then she teaches water aerobics 3 days a week. She has lost 12 lbs in the past 2 months! Then I got a new buddy at the gym who just joined and she's coming to water and werq as well. She is down 8 lbs in the past 2 weeks! Proud of them!

Still on the hunt for a job. I applied at a job today and I know the owners and they have their dogs there. That's kinda fun. It's a pretty active job. I feel like receptionist jobs are nearly impossible. I applied for one today and there was 2 other girls applying when i was there 20 minutes. I could wait forever for a temp agency to call me or get something and stop going crazy at home. My dogs seem to be getting sick of their epic walks lol

Don't quit cooking if you are enjoying it. I love seeing your pictures because they give me ideas for dinner! You are getting quite good at it, too. :)

I hope you can find a good car and that Scott likes his new job. It's great that his health care kicks in so soon.

My MIL's best friend eats no meat and 87 or 88 and really healthy. I go through periods where I don't want a lot of meat but my doctor feels I do better with it. I get tired of meat though. I guess I get tired of everything.

Your weight loss buddies are doing fantastic!!

I hope you find a job you like soon. My son loves his job. It's a good thing because now he has to work 48 plus hours a week. He will be the manager of the new Hibbett's Store in Olney.
