Working Out Makes ALL the Difference!!!!!

Tuesday, July 09, 2013

I know this.... we all know this. Yet, we still try to take short cuts.... we don't have time, we don't have stamina.... whatever the excuse it.
After I won a weight loss challenge at work, I put the money that I won towards a personal trainer. I've been a member at my gym for a year.................. and I never set foot in the place. Not even once! I was intimidated and just didn't know where to start, so I didn't.
Having a trainer has been wonderful! I have a scheduled time to go each week which makes me go. I don't want to disappoint him because I know that I have to weigh-in in front of him so I make sure to eat right. I feel stronger, look better, and have WAY more energy. I've lost 9 pounds in a month... that doesn't sound like a lot but I've lost inches and gained muscle.
Total weight loss: 36 pounds
Only 24 more to go! Gosh... that feels great! :)
I took some "before" pictures when I started with the trainer. I need to take some "during" tonight to compare and then some "after" when I'm done with him in 2 weeks.

This is awesome! In the past I've had great success working with a trainer, if only for the accountability of getting to the gym and wanting to be a "good client." :-) Keep up the great work!

Oh.. AND I strated running in April. I think that's helped change my body too. I ran 3 miles last night! That's a HUGE accomplishment for me.
