Day 18 Juicing #2 and EFT/Tapping

Scale went up .6
Monthly friend is around the corner so I will just go with the flow.
Had fun using the new juicer- takes a bit longer to prep the veggies as it has an narrow neck, but the not having to stop in the middle to clean the machine and the 2 min clean up at the end sure make up for it!

So I was asked about tapping/EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) uses points of your body (meridians) that you tap on while making statements and it zaps your anxiety, pain Etc.
It is really easy to use once you get the hang of it.
I was introduced to it and I read the manual and started tapping. The manual has the long version... Then I forgot about it.
One day Oprah had show with a lady that fell and cut her knee... the next thing she knew- half her body was missing because she got a flesh eating bug. I panicked. I fall all the time, and what if that happened to me???? I couldn't sleep because I had panic attacks about it. Then I thought ... will tapping work? So I remembered the easiest way to do it is just feel the feeling and talk about it. I did... it took about 10 rounds feeling better and better with each round. It worked like a charm. I was no longer scared and was able to sleep. When I woke up in the morning I knew I had a tool to use for the rest of my life.
I use it daily- and right now I am working on all the emotional issues that pop up with the weight loss. And there are a lot of them LOL.

Here you can download the manual that gives you step by step instructions, the history and scripts you can follow. The manual uses the long form that can be a bit overwhelming as a beginner.

My favorite Tapping instructor is Brad Yates. He has a more relaxed approach to tapping and makes it extremely easy to follow. He is also on You tub with the handle EFTwizard.

You can also go to you tube and type in Tapping and ____________ (fill in the blank with whatever issue you have) and you will get tons of hits with people showing you how to tap on that issue.

Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to do it yourself. In a pinch all you have to do is tap while telling your story, about the situation/feeling/pain and you will get relief.

This is really good. I personally don't use a set up statement when only using my hand, and I use the index finger to tap the thumb, and the thumb to tap the rest of the fingers. This works really well when exercising and you feel you can't do it anymore. I tap on " I am not an athlete"
