Sorry to say that I have gained weight. The 17th can't get here soon enough so I can start moving more. I know it will be slow going but so need to feel better. The back is really stiff and the right hip is giving me problems but I hope that is just the muscles that I have to loosen up. The long weekend for the 4th didn't help and my eating went out of control. Today is a new day and it is time to start over. So for now I need to make out menus again and follow it strick.

I agree with CLPURNELL. Take time to heal. Do what you are comfortable with. I just had a knee replacement in January and whenever I pushed the limits, I paid for it and it just takes longer to heal then.
I am an overachiever, and it took me six months to get back to being fully mobile again.
ALSO - hang in there. I will be thinking of you. Surgeries are never easy.

It's hard recovering after surgery. take your time and heal and when you are feeling better you will be able to do more.

You can do it. I know how frustrating it must be when you want to move but your bod isn't ready. I think you have the right idea to plan your menus and stick to it with a healthy eating plan. The right combination of foods will also help your body to heal. Make sure you are getting enough protein. I know once you are able to get up and get going you will start to lose again. My thoughts are with you. emoticon
