Failure to Start and a Relaunch

Two things that will frame up how my weekend went and how I am feeling about myself:

1-- I ate an entire yellow cake with lemon frosting on it in 2 days
2-- I am eating pizza because if I eat another salad, I am going to murder someone. Oh, I think I had a salad for lunch. Hmmm...

Tomorrow starts a whole new world and my butt had better get ready for it. I had been eating salads all along for dinner every night, ad was still gaining weight. So I had a blow out for the past 3 days, but I will get back on track. Just needed a full weekend of stupidity to get it all out of my system.

    Angie, maybe you have not been eating enough for all the exercise you do.
    Are you logging all your meals in the nutrition tracker???? Check your reports and make sure you are staying within the range for the Proteins, Fat, Carbohydrates, Sodium and Fiber. Off course stay within the calories recommended too.
    Salads are great food but I personally preferred them as a side dish that a main meal.
    Unless you are adding protein or some crunchiness to them they can get boring.
    We all have those days we don't make the best choices of our meals and that is Ok, but re focus and emoticon and come back to your healthy plan.
    Variety in your meals will keep you motivated.

    You took 2 days to eat that cake? Would only take me one, love, love lemon!
    Pizza *sigh* never gets on the menu. I converted my Mom to healthy eating so now there is nothing much sinful at her place.
    I can easily understand getting bored at having nothing but salads! You really need to change up your eats! I personally love roasted root veggies (chef Meg has a recipe) and there is always smoothies, a quicker and easier way to eat your greens (and more tasty) I can eat fresh fruit all day long, but am not so good with getting more veggies. Got to try something new to keep it interesting. I tried kale not all that long ago, and while I have had it always raw in salads, I think it would be better cooked. I discovered a love of parsnips and sweet potato because I tried something different.
    Good luck with your week! You can do this! Try a week without salads. Eat your veggies differently or try new ones!

    emoticon Hey there missy...we all have our good days and our not so good days. I have to remind myself who I am doing this for...I too have sabotage days and boy do I regret them later. As Dory in Finding Nemo always told Marlin: just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. You can do it.
