Marathon Training - Week 10

Well, it would be nice if the weather was better for this training. Two weeks running now of heat and humidity and no relief in sight. The only thing I keep telling myself is that with training in this weather, running in October ought to be a lot easier. Only one training run this week. That was on Thursday, and I did 6 miles. Not a bad run. Then, today I did my long run and logged in 11 miles. I am still amazed that I can actually run that far. :) And today, even with the humidity, I actually ran better than last Sunday. My pace was better and I wasn't trying to be better. All I can figure is my legs are getting stronger so my pace must be getter better with that. Thank goodness for my coworker that leaves me water on her porch for me. Much needed especially in this weather. Thinking about taking up yoga once a week. I read that can be helpful. So, I am looking into that. All in all though a great week. Looking forward though to a week with no humidity.
