Tomorrow could be the start of a fun and exciting new challenge for me :) a week or so ago I finally convinced myself to check out division crossfit around the corner from my work. Crossfit has intrigued me for a while, but after a less than welcoming experience more than a year ago, I decided to shove that interest aside and work hard on my own. That I do. I always have, but sometimes the push of public accountability can help you get over barriers you run into on your own. Last year, when I mentioned my interest in the community element of crossfit, I was basically treated like a "lesser" athlete and given the impression I was not welcome. So, walking into division crossfit, as much as I tried to clear that memory, it was still in the back of my mind. I think this club is different! I think this is more what I was hoping to find... When the coach welcomed me in, introduced me to everyone, invited me to hang around and watch a workout, and gave me a tour I was already starting to like the feel. Then when she mentioned "we have a great community of crossfitters here. We all help, encourage and push each other." YES!!! Thank you! Nice to know I wasn't chasing imaginary dragons...
So, tomorrow is my first work out. Here goes nothing ;)

Yay for pushing yourself! :-) You go & hats off to the coach. My 16yr old woke me up this morning to workout. I was extremely unhappy but Now I am GRATEFUL she did after our 43 min workout. :-) emoticon
