Gnat Problem

Saturday, July 06, 2013

Today I noticed gnats flying around my plants. They were very annoying so I decided to look up ways to get rid of them. After much research, I found that the main ingredient was apple cider vinegar. I didn't have that so I decided to put soapy water in a bowl and placed it beside my plants. Everyone said they were attracted to sweet things so I mixed in a little bit of molasses. I thought it was stupid to put it in there but I figure I had nothing to lose.

This is what it looked like after a couple hours.

When I checked it around 10pm, there were more so I'm going to leave it over night. I also bought apple cider vinegar while I was out and put it beside my plants. I hope it works.

1. made bed
2. got rid of some gnats
3. tried a new recipe with squash
4. my legs feel better from workout (I over did it Wednesday so I paid for it for the rest of the week)
5. going to bed earlier than planned

1.lose a few inches off my core a successful squat
3.finish my homework for the semester
4.clean my room
5.refusing sweets and treats

I hope you have a nice day!

Good luck with both your gnats and your fitness plan. I often have a fruit fly problem because of all the freggie waste in my garbage. Once I finished a jar of pickles and forgot to toss the brine and rinse it out--the next morning they had drowned in it! I'm also told wine works, but that seems like a waste of wine to me.
