I got out with family at the reunion for a nice long walk. Staying pretty true to the plan. Yay!

Day 6 30 min hiking. Out enjoying the lake but weather was very windy and damp Sat. Also had 2 fridges stop working (both fixed now) and lost most of my fresh stocked food. Ugh. My mood was a tad foul. Used get out of jail card 2 again mindlessly ugh. Dairy is harder than I thought. Not the missing it part, just the thinking part. So, I forsee buying coffee in the near future until I get restocked and a plan in place. A bit of milk chocolate with ice cream did me in yesterday. Ugh.

I've got to go back and reread your recommendation sheet for dairy too. Any other suggestions always appreciated. Exercise is way easier now that its summer. Apparently I'm a very 'seasonal' person. LOL

Does visiting my friend in AZ and having a great (girl only) chat count?
Back on track - down a pound and started the day with a 25 min yoga session. Life is good :)

Rest today, but went for a long walk along the (surf)
beach with the wind blowing in my hair. The sea air
was invigorating and we climbed a vantage point,
Elephant Rock with spectacular views. For a winter
day, we reached a sunny 70 degrees.
Mel, the ducks are so beautiful. emoticon

    Sunday - day 7 already

my official rest day - no gym but sometimes a neighbourhood walk. Not today - it's cold and wet out there and I'm not hardy pioneering stock like some of you :D So, I'm going to supervise my painter, help where necessary, and do some quiet work till Wimbledon Tennis comes on TV - that'll wear me out, watching Novak and Murray slog it out in London heat and humidity. It might help me keep warm, in chilly Cape Town (by South African standards, that is - about 10C today and, yes, that IS cold)
