Saving for new bikes

My cycling is coming along and my bike is 2 years old with a lot of mileage in him. Hubby wants a new, better bike than the one he has, the frame is a tad small for him, so we are saving our pennies. We put 10% of our income away into an ISA and so far we have 10% of what we need. We aim to have a Boardman composite bike by Christmas or soon after (wait for the sale and see how much they take off the full price).
In the meantime, I am looking for a larger frame for Kenn as he is starting to get shoulder ache. He has a 52cm frame. Not sure what possessed him to buy it but there you go. He's a man and they can act on impulse from time to time. Scouring ebay for a frame is so dull.

Today, weigh day, I have lost 1 lb. It must be the salads and cycling. So pleased. I have lost an inch and a bit off my waist and an inch of my horrible floppy boobs too. My bum has stayed the same but it was over shorts (I know, I should have taken them off but the dogs were woofing)

    Congratulations on your lb & inches loss.
    Pete is on a Free, Sky-Ride Day Course today. Apparently once he has completed it he will be able to take groups on rides for which he will get paid. I thought this might be a good thing for you to do as you are always finding new routes. ( It would also help towards your new bikes! )
