Pleasant out this way...breeze, lower humidity and lower temperature. The fields are looking good. I have been mowing them over the past week. I had to stop yesterday as I literally mowed out of a tire so a friend took that for repair. That's a one of my main stresses...when stuff breaks down and I can't finish a task...along with when my body gets too sore, overheated or just tired. I kind of have a mantra about how things will be better...usually after a night's rest. Today is good. I mowed the remaining half of the front field and several other spots up front. Funny...the sheep would not venture into the garden area behind the house until I mowed down the tall grass...then they dashed in happily picking through the fresh hay and trimming the willow trees...I suspect my flock is more than a little spoiled.
My next plan is to go get more gasoline and hit the back trails again. I want to have them manicured and smooth for when I drive with Bobbi later in the month. We have made a plan to drive our mini horses together once a month...alternating locations. Also, the trainer will be back soon so I want lots of places to school the bigger ponies. The far back arena is almost ready.
I am thankful for the celebration of the freedom of my country. From the front porch we have a nice vista to enjoy fireworks.

Loved reading your blog! We watch the fireworks from our backyard. Although it is a ways from the park where they are done, we can see everything except what is on the ground. Happy 4th!
