I've been avoiding writing this today. My stovetop broke last week and we had to turn off the gas to it. The repair guy came today. He didn't have the part. I'll have to ask DH if we can turn it back on and only use the burners that work. Hopefully the one that wouldn't turn off won't come back on when he tries it.
So, I picked what kind of food I will make. Now I have to get creative and use the oven, crockpot or BBQ. I usually leave the BBQ up to DH but I may have to go use it myself.
My biggest obstacle is not having the stovetop. Everything that I think of to cook has an element that I use it. I'll have to be creative. We also have two nights with sports so I will have to make sure we have quick easy meals those nights.
The good news is that the kids have summer camps next week. I won't be completely kid free at any time because Danielle and Nicole only go half day and one is in the morning and the other is in the afternoon: same class, different age groups.
My goals for this week:
1. At least 400 minutes of exercise
2. Make my snacks more balanced with freggie, protein and healthy fats
3. Practice my piano at least 5 days (I practiced twice today and had my lesson but I'm not counting these.)
4. Maintain my weight
5. Do something fun with each child.
