Dragged out of commission...

Wednesday, July 03, 2013

Hi all,
Life took one of those unexpected turns recently when the day after my aunt's memorial, my mom woke up vomiting and fever and weakness. that led to E.R. and the 3 day hospital stay that then qualified her for rehab nursing home. After two weeks there, however, she is 100% worse, mentally,-zoning out, staring drooling, not eating.... they are now going to change meds and treat her for suspected petty mal seizures (actually I think it is Petite mal seizures) I have been out of the loop and not exercising regularly the past couple weeks. Now down at my sisters place an hour from home to be nearer the nursing home. Tomorrw will be my 3rd day stalking the place hoping to catch the Dr. In person!! It is surprising how much less stressful it is to have my mom living at my house, then in a nursing home. I could at least carve out some workout time at my house when hubs got home from work...but this stressfull situ, sucks the life right otu of you. Before I left home a couple days ago, i was back up to 158...grrr....really wanted teh excess off by my 51 bday! Oh well. Maybe my mom will make a come back from my bday present! :) Hope you are all well!! Hubs goes to Florida next week to visit family alone. Wah....I wanna go, just not good timing. Next time!! :)
