Intense Drills On The Boat

Monday, July 01, 2013

My husband is an intense and goal driven man. We spent 6 hours in training on the sail boat today in preparation for our sailing trip. We rented a 50 ft yacht in the Grenadines. I think he is a little concerned about safety. We practiced all the emergency procedures, hand signals, dropping anchor, docking, etc. There was little time for relaxation on the boat. I feel better and I am glad we made him feel better. He's very excited about the trip and truly want it to go well. I look forward to the Scuba diving and snorkeling!

Hope everyone is having a great new month!

Sounds like you got your exercise in for the day as well as the training. I am begining to see that this vacation will automatically entail some exercise each day. You were worried about nothing.

Sounds like a smart move. Especially since it is a rental boat and his beloved family.
Wishing you a day full of joy and adventure!

What an amazing experience this will be! I'm glad to hear that safety is taking a spot as a top priority. I hope R&R is right up there, too! (I'm sure it is!)
