T25 Day one - and fun NSV's!

With all the moving I have done in my life, I am surprised that I didn't have more clutter to clean out.

I am NOT on the level of HOARDERS or anything like that, but I found clothes that were from when I was in college (and up to about 8 years ago). And that was longer ago than I really would like to admit.

Anyway, these were stored at my mom's home for a while, and since she is moving, they were brought to my house. So, my husband's goal was to organize the garage this summer. He has taken days to do this, and I was like, I should bring in those clothes to help him out. I will switch out the storage, and see if there is anything worth keeping.

So, the first stuff is some nice dress shirts that I can easily wear to work, if they fit. AWESOME that at least HALF of them do, and more than that, the rest will likely fit soon! So, I got to keep the ones that I liked that were still "fashionable!"

So, after going through those things, I came to a tub of sweathsirts. They were all large, so I just put them in the "get rid of" side. (With the exception of a couple that are warm and comfy.)

The next tub was workout clothes! Holy cow! I have just finally recently lost enough weight that my workout clothes are seriously too large! Especially with doing jumps! So, I begin going through them. Some are winter wear or cool weather wear only, so they were set aside, because I will try them in the fall. Then I see them. A pair of "yoga pants" or something like them that I bought at LEAST 10 years ago. They were NEVER worn. I couldn't fit into them when I bought them. I was too large. There was a yoyo time when I probably could have worn them, but then they were in my mom's basement, and I didn't live there. (And had totally forgotten about them). So I pull out these pants. These pants that still have a tag on them. These pants that I had wanted to fit so long ago, and when they didn't they likely sent me into a binge eating spiral. I looked at them. I thought, wow, those might fit! So, I decide that I am trying them on. I'm not going to get down on myself if they don't fit, because I'm not going to spiral like that, but I just want to see.

THEY FIT LIKE A FREAKING GLOVE! And not an OJ Simpson "If it doesn't fit you must acquit" glove, but they fit!!! They were perfect for me NOW! What an amazing gift, to find pants that fit in there, and to not have to buy more!!!

Great NSV that really pumped me up.

So, TODAY, I took those "new" workout pants and I started T25. AWESOME!

Okay, yes, it is not easy and if you are looking for a low key workout, this is not for you. Shaun T's high intensity workouts (T25 and Insanity) have me looking like I showered with my clothes on when I finish. They are SO GREAT. It was a challenge, but I am SO looking forward to this challenge!! Plus, to do it in those pants kind of kept me floating during the workout!

I look forward to more results and fun days during this challenge, and I can't wait to post my before and after pictures and earn myself a T25 tee shirt!!!

Love this! I cleaned out my closet in April and put the too small cloths away by size. I'm afraid to get them out and try them :/ -- Maybe when I start a new decade, which should be next week (fingers crossed)

I have a work shirt like that in the closet, except I'm still in the "shirt too small, self too big" stage a little bit. It fits, but it fits my belly like an OJ glove right now. I'm hoping to wear it by the end of the summer, but if not it can motivate me in the winter.

I like your blogs. They remind me how totally possible this is.

It's so true. I know I workout better when I wear something I feel good in.
