I'm not gonna lie. June has been tough. I've been able to stay focused on my goals, but personally I feel like I've been the wringer. (For example: on Friday more than $900 was fraudulently charged to my debit card.)
My goal for June (aside from my usual nutrition/fitness goals) was to do yoga twice a week. I met that goal, but not quite in the way I wanted to. I was hoping to get into a few classes at the gym, but wasn't able to afford a short-term membership (I'm not a current member). I did a video once, but mostly I fell back on Sun Salutations which creatively speaking was taking the easy way out, but physically, it WORKED. My back is stronger than it was a few weeks ago and I am definitely sweating by that 24th sequence (12 sets of 2 reps).
I've decided not to set a special goal for July the way I have for the last few months. July will be back to basics. Daily nutrition goals. Weekly fitness goals. Work the program.
The weather is getting HOT and meeting my fitness goals will require some adaptability as nearly all of the cardio I have done over the last nine months has been outside. But I have some options, so I am confident that I will still meet my fitness minutes and calories burned goals.
