It's hard to get exercise in when traveling by car and your schedule is very different from your every day routine. This trip I'm trying a new habit - every time I stop for the restroom, I do a quick set of wall push ups and squats. It only takes a few minutes and it helps offset the long ride. Cardio is the next challenge. I'm thinking burpees in the hotel room but I *hate* burpees!

    Sounds like a great strategy. Wish I'd done something like that while I was travelling. But, I'm home now and getting back in the groove.

    You go, girl! You can also find some steps and walk up and down them for cardio.

    When I'm car traveling, I take 5-10 minutes of every potty stop to walk briskly around the parking lot of the place. If the hotel doesn't have a fitness room, I pace the hallways or if it's light, the parking lot. I do modified jumping jacks (keep one foot on the floor) so I'm not pounding on the ceiling of the guys under me. March in place.
