6 Month Review

So as I reflect back- it has been 6 months with my new lifestyle changes! As opposed to the many years I have been a member of Sparkpeople, this is time is different. I didn't go strong for a month or 2- but 6 months and still motivated!!!
1st- I have lost and maintained a loss of 15 lbs! This is huge, I made it through a very stressful school year and successfully did not wreck my changes!
2nd- I have enjoyed not giving up foods, but truly treating each one as something special that helps me live in a moderated fashion.
3rd- I have invested in myself- I bought new workout clothes, a fitbit, joined a gym, began personal training, bought new shoes, tried new classes and met new friends. I am choosing people and things that are helping me reach my goals and not detract from them.
4th- I am changing my self-image and beginning to find a love of what I see- I am not perfect yet, but improving!
5th- I am starting to find a balance in life and have taken steps to make it happen, by requesting a change in roles at work, stepping back and beginning to say no to things, and making a point to be home with my cats and hubby.
Now, that I have worked for 6 months, I am ready to take the next 6 and rock them!
