Oh! Ouch. Overcompensated, I think.

I am (perhaps overly) enthusiastically turning over a new leaf, with the new week upon us.

After yesterday's great workout, I decided to do it again! This time I did the second workout on the video I dusted off. Oh my! I pushed and pushed hard. It was a dripping-sweat kind of time! My shoulders are killing me!! I'm kind of sore all over, but I am super sore in the shoulders/ upper back area. On the one hand, I'm exhilarated and really pleased that I did it. On the other, just ouch. LOL.

Maybe it was just the dumb hair. Yesterday I did a home-straightening perm kit on my crazy curls, and that entails a ton of combing and general reaching-up on my head. My shoulders may have just been tired from that nonsense.

Tracking and eating was good yesterday, it continues to be good today. I seem to want more fat and less carbs. I tracked the rest of my day before lunch, and I had to tweak to get the fat down, though it would still have been within my calorie range. That's the beauty of tracking ahead. You can't change what you've already eaten!

I know I'll be off to bed early tonight! Maybe something less intense for exercise tomorrow, then I think I'll kick this vid again Tuesday and Wednesday. That will set me up well for the upcoming holiday weekend, which will be socially busy and I'm not sure how I'm going to approach it.
