Cycling is LIFE!

I finally got my bike fixed yesterday. It's been in storage for about a year, which means, last time I rode it, I was about 80lbs heavier.
Let me tell you, riding a bike when you are in good shape and weigh 80lbs less is a lot easier. In fact, I had an amazing first bike ride yesterday. Biking is one of my very favorite ways to work out and I can't wait to get some extra exercise in, riding EVERYWHERE. The only issue is, I live in Chicago and I have a toddler, so it's not the safest place to cycle but I will just take side streets and such.

Yesterday I spent the day running around, getting stuff done. I ran into GAP which had a 50% off almost everything sale going on and I bought a really cute dress in a size XL, which is almost a bit big on me. I had lunch out and went for a lentil felafel instead of the salads I had every day. I was afraid it was a bad choice but I also thought to myself I have had salads for almost every meal this week and I am craving a felafel if I don't give into the occasional craving, I will not be happy.
For dinner my husband and I had a special restaurant booked for date night. I had some rabbit pirogi (maybe not the best choice), two drinks and dessert. I was pretty sure I must have gained weight.

So imagine my surprise when I had lost 2lbs this morning! I don't know if it was the bike ride or eating what I wanted but in small portions or if I was just due to lose some weight but I did, so I am feeling pretty great this morning!
