I've been reading through SparkPeople today and reading about all the changes to the points system. That's one thing that always happens. Change is inevitable.
For instance, everyday I am changing. I have been focusing more on coming to SparkPeople and getting my points. I do this because it helps me focus more on actually changing my habits and my way of life. I know that I want to change. I want to grow. I want to lose weight and improve my health.
Today was a good example, I consciously decided I needed to make sure I got my 8 cups of water. This makes it the 4th day in a row. Awesome if I say so myself. I also measured myself again after 2 weeks and seem to have gained a pound. This happens and I managed to not beat myself up. No exercise today but I'm hoping to do some tomorrow, even if its only a little.

    My small goal today was to get in my 8 cups as well! I succeeded like you, and it made me feel good to reach a goal, even a small one. Also congrats on not beating yourself up over a gain. I have a hard time doing that, even though I know it's best to focus on getting NSVs!
