Onward and upward.

Went over and had the staples removed yesterday. That does help make it feel better. Grocery shopped after and then went to a baseball game for grandson so now very tired today. I was told all looked good but still nothing for three weeks and then they will do an xray and we will go from there on what exercise's I will start. I am ready except for wearing down so fast. A little tummy problems but still hanging in there at 172.

Looks like we will be seeing the sun for awhile now. The last of the storms rolled thru yesterday morning. I am hungry for Tuna salad or egg salad sandwiches. So will make up some tuna today but will have to get eggs before the other is made. I was told to push fruit and veggies for they help heal the body but then he said I guess I don't have to tell you that. That is why things are going so well and my back looked good.

Can't believe July is almost here. Hoping all goes well so after the 4th maybe we can camp one weekend at least. We have a bus trip paid for in August to go to Door County and Mackinaw Island on a week trip so want to be careful and be sure we can do it. That is the goal now to work for. Later then I will set goals again for my weight lost. I still need to get those 26 pounds off.

Glad to hear your staples are out and things are going well. If you don't rush things sounds like your bus trip is doable. As much as you want to just get up and go take small steps and your recovery should go well. Have a wonderful weekend and don't worry about getting tired ..... your body knows what it needs and if rest is one of those needs than so be it.
Funny you should mention tuna and egg salad.....I have the same "craving" and opted for the tuna. LOL
Hugs and prayers coming your way!

Good for you. It sounds as though you are healing well. I am so glad for that. You are smart to take it slow so that you will heal properly and will still be able to do the other things you have planned for the rest of the summer Just approach it like you do your weight loss. Slow and steady will bring you success. And you are holding your own with your weight now so that is amazing!! emoticon emoticon
