Busy... I like to be busy!

So much going on since my last blog. I took my 12 day vacation to Florida. It was quite relaxing. I did work out in the gym a few days but it was just SO hot...even with the air conditioning so I resorted to swimming in the pool every day instead. I also swam in the Gulf on the days I went to the beach and back to the pool. I found I wasn't eating as much, maybe the heat... not sure where my weight is at or my measurements. I have to take a look at that this weekend. All I know is my clothes feel looser on me.
I got a promotion at work which I interviewed for before my vacation. Was a nice surprise to come back to. I start in 2 weeks. I want to start now but apparently they still need me in my current department. They will miss me I'm sure!!!
Since I've been back I had a lot to do around the place. With all the rain everything grew....and grew...and needed to be controlled a bit. So I've been doing a lot of yard work and also cleaning and organizing. After relaxing for so many days it felt good to be so active again...but I did need to relax and do almost nothing.
I'm back to my zumba and line dancing too. I just haven't been tracking my food..something I have to begin again.
When I returned I went to see my mom and dad.. they are in an assisted living facility. My dad is quite ill.. they say he won't be here much longer but he just keeps pushing to hang on. My mom's Alzheimers is getting worse...it's an aggressive type of Alzheimers.... Lewy's Body Dementia they say. She's deteriorating quickly but she still knows who I am....well, most of the visit time. It saddens me when I visit. All they both want is to be home. My mom cries a lot. But I know they are in a very safe place...and the staff is wonderful and very caring. Not much I can do except visit often, bring them treats, listen and just hug them a lot.
Anyway, going to relax and have a glass of wine (indulge a little after 2 nights of intense zumba classes...lol).
Hoping this weekend to be able to be on Spark more, celebrate everyone's progress and offer whatever support I can. I love Spark...everyone is so supportive..... I just want to give back...keep the positive energy flowing!
Keep Sparking...it works!
