Winding down on Wednesday

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

As I left you yesterday, I was heading out to lunch with a friend. Katie and I decided on

The first 10 minutes there, I decided what I wanted about 3 times!

I usually get the sirloin, but yesterday I chose the bacon cheeseburger and fries.

I told them to hold the bun (about 220 calories) and just eat it with a fork and knife. I normally eat all the fries, but they didn't taste that good to me yesterday, so I ate less than 10.

After some great conversation

I headed home to get Morgan

to take her to the vet. Molly thought that Gus had to go, but since he did not, I was walking him over to Rich to hold him as we left. Yeah, that worked well!

NOT! That stupid little 40# dog pulled me on my face. Funny, though, and I said this immediately after I fell, it didn't hurt as much as it used to when I was larger. Hmmmmm. I would have expected it to hurt more because of lack of padding. I have no bruises, scrapes or soreness!

Anyway, back to the story. All of the dogs and cats have fleas.

Well, with 2 dogs and 3 cats, THAT was fun!

Then home to get ready for VBS!

I only had 15 minutes, so I inhaled a hotdog on the way...

We got home at about 8:50. I still needed to make my breakfast for today.

then I went in to lay my clothes out for today and Rich crawled into bed!

By 9:30 I was in there, too!

I slept in until 5 this am. Then I headed to the gym to do

Then Molly and I played racquetball

Then I came in to work! I am now doing my crunches. (typing between sets).

Crunches in! 263 today! 7 sets of 30-35 each totally 263 crunches.

Yeah, my abs might be screamin' now, but then I look in the mirror

Yes!!! It is all worth it in the end! We just have to want it badly enough to do what it takes to get it.

I just took it easy on Tuesday doing the prep for my colonoscopy on Wednesday. Nice and easy was my mantra that day.

I'm glad you weren't hurt by the dog running.
You're dedication is something to be emulated!

Wow! That 's a lot of crunches. You got in lots of exercise. I'm working back up to it! I find I do better when I start slow and build up. It's hard to hold back when I'm in a challenge, but I know what will happen if I rush.
Love the pictures you add to your blog. I'm not sure I know how to do that.

Wow! Love all the pics and I admire your crunch work. The most I ever get in is 100 and I am dying after that! Glad you weren't hurt when you fell. We have three dogs and two cats. Hope the rest of your day is fabulous!

Very good leaving off the bun. A lot of calories there. So glad you were not hurt when the dog ran away with you. You are an exercise machine. I have in about 59 min. but doing more later. Taking a break.
