Tales of Success

"It is through generating stories of our own crisis and hope and telling them to one another that we light the path ." Rosemary Radford Reuther

Had a setback in your life recently and keeping it in well don't. Sharing your troubles with another well for one unburdens you. It let others know you are human like we all are .It helps others learn from your mistakes.

By telling someone your misfortune might allow them to see the light at how healing and lightening this practice is. It is healthy to admit your mistakes and say you are human.
Just because you ate a bag of chips and didn't exercise for a week doesn't make you less of a person . It means that you made a mistake that's it. One you can learn and grow from. One you can help another with on this long journey.

So with that said I will say I haven't been working as hard as I can on my eating habits. Lately I have been leaving a little something on the table at the gym, Sometimes I don't even show up. I need to do better with getting my eight hours in, But I am human. I am learning from my mistakes, hopefully helping you guys by admitting this and moving on. Today is a great day for success.

Mistakes mean you're trying! The fact that you go to the gym at all is commendable. None of us will eat perfectly all the time. We are not robots. Sometimes it's good to do what you enjoy doing and have a treat or take a day off from the gym. It means you are enjoying life, so I say good for you! emoticon

We are all human and tend to get off track from time to time. A friend on here posted a blog a couple of years back about 2 steps forward 1 back. She felt like as long as she was ahead on the steps forward she was ahead. I try to do a little better than 2 to 1 but I do have my steps back too. All too often. ;-)

as we all say, it's a process....we learn and eventually we put into place new habits that we gain control over and blast away many of the old bad habits.

    here's to building good habits!

It's definitely helpful to let others know about our problems or setbacks! I know it definitely works for me. After I fess up to binging or not exercising, I am that much more ready to accept the challenge and get right back on track.

You have such an awesome and healthy attitude, and thank you so much for your honesty! We all need to learn from our mistakes, forgive ourselves, and then move on. I'm hoping you can find the strength and motivation you need to accomplish your goals this week!
