Back to my routine

So after a week of vacation, and family time. I returned to my normal routine waking up headed to work. Was getting a bit overwhelmed at one point during my day, so I got up and took a 10 minute walk around the building. We had intended on going to the gym once I got home, but LOML (love of my life), had a different idea. He ended up falling asleep... I was disappointed, but I ended up using the time effectively. I have a bit of a different schedule for the next 3 days with work training, so I decided to be proactive and started tonight's dinner, along w/ tomorrow nights dinner. As I was prepping dinner, LOML woke up, and it was to late for his schedule to go to the gym. That's when I decided once he went to bed, I would take advantage of the daylight and go for a walk. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things, as my left leg still hurts when I walk at a faster pace than normal. I also, know I have to get some stretching in. I think my calf is extra tight, causing my shin to hurt similarly to shin splints.
It felt good to get out there and walk, I'm hoping that in the next week or so, I can start running!! I'll be getting that 5k in for sure by the end of the year... I'm determined...

    Good goals..l am trying the coach to 5k program, but at a slower pace. I would love to do one too.
