Keeping At It

Despite being preoccupied with the flood situation I have managed to keep up my exercise plan of 20-30 min cardio on the the stationary bike and 15-20 min of strength training with my band. My diet, on the other hand, has suffered a bit the past two days, unfortunately. And this morning I was disappointed with the number on the scale.
I've decided not to let it get me down, though. I just need to keep at it. Rome wasn't built in a day right? It is only a very small set-back, no reason to beat myself up or let it derail me. Also, as I know very well there will always be fluctuations from day to day on the scale and they don't necessarily mean much.
My main focus for now is on meeting my exercise goals, not on the number on the scale. So I'm reminding myself of that and trying to keep that as my biggest priority.
