Third time lucky...

Friday, June 21, 2013

... Finally home after a huge storm everywhere except where I was staying. Three trips to the airport in three separate days, got on the plane yesterday then we had to disembark and go home.
Finally made it this morning to much reduced winds. Luckily we have power but our neighbors in the next suburb don't. DH spent a lot of yesterday clearing fallen branches and debris but we kept our roof and our fence didn't fall over, unlike the neighbor on the other side.
Lucky me, staying with DS in her B&B, when my flights were cancelled she picked me up again and took me home. We took in a two day meditation workshop and had a great catch up and I enjoyed spending time with my niece and grand niece, but, oh, it's good to be home.
To my chagrin I missed my two hour Zumba session this morning, but every morning we went to the pool and did laps for 45 minutes, then a spa and sauna, so felt well stretched and relaxed. When it stops raining we will be onto the cleanup. Just as well I had a holiday!

Have decided to do a third round of the Cura now rather than waiting for the end of winter, so it will be lots of hot water drinks for me for the next few weeks.
Enjoy your lovely summer weather, Sparkies!
