Very disappointed

Friday, June 21, 2013

I have seen many blogs where people have just written about something they have done, enjoyed or what has been wrong in their day. I guess I don't know what the blogs are about at all. It seems to be okay if I put something in there that is depressing, but put something in where I enjoyed something and it was interesting and I get attacked.

Yesterday I wrote about going on The Creation Tour and some of the things they talked about and we saw. I never said that Creationism was science. I never said that people were wrong if they believed the earth was millions of years old. The only actual time period I said had to do with rocks that were from 50 years ago and when Mount St. Helens blew that they tested and decided they were 1 million and 800,000 years old when they were formed when the volcanoes erupted. I said they told how layers of earth formed after the flood, but I didn't say there wasn't any earth before the flood. On the contrary, without an earth before the flood there couldn't have been a flooded earth. I HAVE NEVER FORCED MY BELIEFS ON ANYONE ELSE. EVER!

But people will tell me there isn't any such thing as the creation. They say that all living things come from something in the water. They say you cannot prove creation, but how do they prove that everything came from the water. I've never seen them take an amoeba and make some other living being from it. If man came from apes, why are there still apes? Even Darwin, in the end of his book, said something about if his theories couldn't be proven to not believe them (I do not remember exactly what the wording was).

If people don't want to believe in the things we were told yesterday, that is fine. They have the right to believe what they want to. That freedom of choice is there for everybody. So don't put me down just because I say about what I have learned about. I haven't said it to hurt others, but maybe there are some people who would like to hear about those things.

I'm late, but I totally agree, you have every right to your beliefs and the right to express them. They don't have to read them if they don't care to.
I'm so glad you haven't let whoever/whatever take your blogging away from you. Keep it up, you go girl.
    God Bless.

Stick to your guns. Don't back down and don't let others discourage you. Negative comments and criticisms don't belong here. If others disagree, they can just read something else instead of feeling compelled to try and shoot you down.
There is more scientific evidence to support creation than evolution, but too many are made to feel ignorant if they even dare to profess it.
I'm glad you had fun at the museum. I hope one day to visit it too.

Just do your "creative blogs" Those handful of people can suck eggs. Ignore them. If you don't please everyone, gotta please yourself. Isn't that a song? lol MJ

I can't believe we have these sort of people on Spark. I guess if your bored and have nothing to do, I guess they are everywhere. That is why I don't frequent Facebook that much anymore. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and beliefs.

I don't share your beliefs, but I will repeat my comment from yesterday's blog: I'm glad you had a good day...that you enjoyed yourself...that you had fun. Those were the primary things I got from your blog. We all deserve to have our own opinions, and I try to respect that at all times. I am Spark Friends with many people who have religious and political opinions different from mine. So what? We are still friends. Learning to accept people as they are, especially when they aren't just like us, is actually very freeing, and mentally and emotionally healthy. Besides, there is more to a person than their belief systems.

I had to go back and read your blog on the tour before I could comment....i'm and atheist and I found nothing in the blog that would be offensive to's just a report on a fun trip you enjoyed........just's your blog and if someone reading it does not like it, they can go blow eggs.....some people feel they just have to be disagreeable and argumentative even if there is no reason to be so....ignore them and go on your had an enjoyable trip and that is all that matters

I agree with the others that everyone has the right to their own opinion. You definitely should not have been attacked for your viewpoint. emoticon

I agree that you are entitled to your opinion. I do not think that any Sparkers should put down someone's opinion on their blog. There is enough room for all of us to be able to express our point of view.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. No one should judge, it is not man's place to be the judge. That is up to God and God alone. Sorry that some people feel insecure and feel the need to attack you. emoticon

I salute your exercise of free speech and will defend that right no matter what. I am so sorry you were attacked. If I disagreed with you, you would not know it because the right to express the opinion trumps the content of that opinion. emoticon
