My First "Weigh In" is on Monday...

and I'm starting to get a little nervous. I mean I don't expect to see a big drop in the numbers, that would just be unrealistic. However, I would like to see that I've lost a pound or two. I've tried really hard to be good about what I ate all week and I'm hoping that my weight reflects that. Now I know that my chances of weight loss would be higher if I had worked out this week, but because of my current living situation excising at home isn't an option and I haven't gotten paid yet so I don't have a gym membership (yet). That's why today, while I was a family friend's pool, I made sure to make good use of my time and swim as much as I could. Of course it was a small pool so all I could really do was tread water, but according to SparkPeople that's 118 calories for 5 minuets and I did at least an hour. Now I don't think that makes up for a whole week of no workouts, but I do think that's better than nothing. We'll see what the scale has to say on monday.

I remember my first week and I was super nervous too! But I ended up loosing! You do need to incorporate exercise but loosing weight is about 70% nutrition and 30% exercise.

And you know to be honest, even if you haven't lost weight, you've already gotten some non scale victories by being mindful of your food and making use of your time in the pool! It's a great first start :D

Can't wait to hear how it goes!
