eady to camp!

Friday, June 21, 2013

The plan is to go camping tomorrow. SO, that means today I ready the camper, shop, pack, plan, well, maybe not in that order.

I'm going to download my meal plan suggestions here to get me going in a more healthy direction when we are on the road.

The rest of the plan is to rest. This is our crazy busy time at work so some down time is sweet. Plan to also bike around the lake and just enjoy being outside

Had several critter adventures this morning in my biking around Shelley Lake. FIRST OF ALL I SAW A FOX! Now we do see them in the neighborhood but this one stared long and hard at me before running away. I know there are rabid ones around. I certainly waited until it was scooted into the woods. Next I saw a hawk perched on the edge of the greenway scoop up a field mouse in his talons and fly right in front of me. Last was a bunny. Always fun. Plus listening to all the bird calls makes me just want to scream for the fun of it!!! I love being outside!!!!!!!

Since I'm now taking my synthroid at night I have to cut off any eating about 3 hours before bedtime......and since I try to hit the hay by 10, this really diminishes my evening eating. YAY!

Have a sparkling weekend spark friends.

Dad and Mom took us camping when I was a senior in high school...Dad loved the out of doors and taught us a lot. Enjoy your camping trip ! I was a skinny teen...and I had to work hard camping. I would take my bike to the spring and fill the thermoses and carry them back to camp on the handle bars. I always gained weight in the summer...explain that! emoticon
