First Goal

I made it to my June goal before the end of the month! I'm so excited. Since the beginning of May I have lost a total of 13.4 pounds and I plan to keep going. I set a new goal to be 280 before the end of July, so that gives me about 5 1/2 weeks at about 2 pounds a week to lose. I think I can beat it. I just need to keep exercising and eating healthy to accomplish this.

I felt so happy and ecstatic when I weighed myself this morning. I just need to make sure I don't go back over 290, and if I do, I need to make sure it's short lived. I'm getting closer every day to my goal weight of 140. I want to be able to ride roller coasters again and shorts. I miss shorts--real shorts. I haven't worn them since I was like 10 because I'm so self-conscious about my legs. I can feel some of my clothes getting loose and I'm excited, but with the weight loss I will have to buy new clothes and say farewell to my favorite wardrobe...I don't think I'll miss it too much. I have a pair of pants I've kept for five years, hoping that one day I would be able to wear them. I think I'll wear them for Christmas.
