One day at a time!

Well, all the start and stops and slow progress....but i've lost a total of 46 pounds over the last year! So proud of myself...but still a ways to go. But now my outlook is so different. I think I cut my own feet out from under myself so many times by going on a 'diet' instead of approaching my weight loss as a lifestyle change. It is amazing how much better I feel and how much more confident I am now that I've been working out and eating healthy as opposed to trying this diet and that diet! I am on my 4th week of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and I am making new gains everyday. I can do more pushups, I can keep up a little better, I'm getting more toned and just feel more strong and confident all the way around. It is truly amazing. I'm not sitting on the sidelines waiting for this or that to happen to start living my life! I have a day job now for the first time in 14 years and I have started taking Tae kwon do and Jui jitsu with my husband and children. Lol. Never thought I'd do that! I will be 40 in a month and I am comfortable in my own skin! It's a pretty great place to be! emoticon
