Today's SC assignment is to look at failures as opportunities. I have been trying to do this during this weight loss journey- something I do not believe I did in my other attempts. Then I would get frustrated with failure and give up. One of the questions posed today was: Why do we expect perfection with weight loss but consider that same expectation as unrealistic in other parts of our lives? We accept mistakes and move on, we might beat ourselves up a little bit but we do not give up. So why do we give up on being healthy? We are going to make mistakes on this journey and we need to just refocus and keep plugging along. I believe changing my mindset is as important as changing my body if I want to be successful. Keep going everyone, I know we can do it!
