So anyway... DEADLIFTED 145 LBS TODAY! WOO! Proud of myself! That's almost 15 lbs more than I weigh!
My weight loss goals have been put on hold: it is officially Ribfest in Ottawa. Yep: I may be 3.5 lbs down, but I'm going to eat a lot of pork in the next few days. OM NOM NOM.
Tonight I walk down to Da Bombe for a Greyhound Rescue fundraiser, then to Arts Court for a free concert for my friend's band The Peptides ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=
). Their current album was written as a sound track for The Vinyl Cafe's Stuart MacLean's book! :)
Tomorrow I pig out for lunch at ribfest and then have dinner and drinks at Union 613 -- we're going because my friend's beer (he's a brewmaster in St. Thomas) is hosted there.
Friday I'll be walking out to my friend's place to see her dog: he recently had one of his front legs amputated at the shoulder due to cancer, so I want to see how he's doing (I helped her make beds for him on Monday). Then I'll walk home before climbing!
Should be a good week!
