Well, i'm back for a second round of SP

Hi everyone, i know i've been gone awhile and in my absence i gained all the wieght i lost back. I just completely gave up in frustration. I was frustrated that i wasn't seeing the results when i was putting in 100%. I have to be patient just because i don't SEE it doesn't mean that it isn't working. Plus another frustration is that i have a bad foot =( I couldn't walk, run, and even riding a bike seemed to aggrivate it more. So instead of finding other ways to compensate for my foot, i just gave up. But my foot will get better, I went to the doctor and i've been on Mobic for a week that does seem to help, plus i went in for x-rays so i'm hoping they can give me an answer besides just saying rest, stretch and lose wieght...really? I've been diagnosed with planter faciitis, but now my doctor may actually think i have heal spurs to. Next step will be a podiatrist, let's hope. Because i have a two year old i have to chase around. I really just want to be happy and healthy.

Hi and Welcome back! I've been in and out, too, in the last months....and also gained what I lost. But, you're here and that's the first step. Hope your foot heals quickly!

Hey girl! Welcome back! The most important thing is that you came back! Congratulations!!! That means you want to change and you feel that you are worth it! Now, do your best not to beat yourself up. Remind yourself why you want to be healthy. What were the steps you took the first time around? How can you improve this time around? We all have fallen in this battle of weight loss. What matters is that we "pick (our)selves up, dust (our)selves off, and start all over again".

emoticon And we will be here cheering you on!!!

I'm so glad you are back- I've missed you. I too have slipped and gained most of my weight back. I've been back on track for two weeks but it has been quite a struggle to find my way back. I've had two or three starts since February but slipped right away and I hope this time I will stick with it.
Hope everything goes well with the podiatrist and all you need is therapy and meds - that's all I needed when I had plantar faciitis years ago. Just remember you don't have to be on your feet to exercise. There are even exercises on this site that you can use.
I'll be here to cheer you on. We've done it before , we can do it again. Good luck! emoticon emoticon

I know what you mean..... trying to be patient is frustrating in its self. I have not been working out as intensely as I need to be because I hurt my knees a few weeks ago. There are strength training and seated cardio videos on SP you should check out.
