Two workouts today

Yesterday was the Icelandic Independence Day. Fun fact: we got our independence from Denmark in 1944, so it will be 70 years next year!

I went on a 50 minute walk with my sister yesterday. It was a good walk and we walked up a big hill, so that helped the calories burn off!


I went for a run today outside. I haven´t done than all summer (just on the treadmill inside). It was very hard!! I ran/jogged/walked 2.2 km (1.3 miles) in 17 minutes. Like I said, it was very difficult, so I´m going again tomorrow haha. I really want to run the whole 2.2 km without walking, but I´m just going to practice!


Tonight I´m doing Zumba with my sister! Two workouts in one day. I have the whole off work, so why not!

How many calories per week do you burn? What is your "calorie burn" goal here on SP?

    Love Zumba!!! I try to burn a minimum of 500 calories per workout, 6 days a week. By doing do, I burn enough to have a negative balance each day to consistently lose weight, but not working or cutting calls so drastically that I'm slowing my metabolism or hurt my health emoticon emoticon

    Moving like that you will soon be losing the lbs. and reaching your goal! Just eat healthy each day. This site has wonderful resources for that and they do work. I came here from some crazy extreme diets plus I am gluten intolerant so I had a lot of food issues to work out. but balance is the key.
