Migraine Day 6

Tuesday, June 18, 2013

Ok so this is getting to be very annoying. Yes I have seen a Neurologist and have prescribed migraine meds, which only help to keep it at bay for most of the day, though they have not been as helpful the past 2-3 days...I also have been taking a muscle relaxer for the neck and jaw pain...I have been to the chiropractor and on the 2nd day saw a family doctor who gave me a shot of Torodal...need to make my appointment for the neurologist and see if he has any better drugs for me.

I am tired of the pain and just plain tired... emoticon

My daughter just went through a manth or so of having migraines. Turns out she was given the wrong prescription for her glasses. Have you had your eyes checked recently?

I hope you feel better soon.

I think you should have an MRI just to find out why you are having all these migraines. emoticon

I'm really sorry. I used to have nasty migraines and TMJ so I know how you feeling. The mouth guard actually corrected my jaw so I only wear it on needed basis these days. But you really need to focus and analyze everything so you can determine the cause. Be extra careful if you combine over the counter with prescriptions. Walk should help by circulating the blood more so it'll lessen the inflammation which will hopefully reduce the migraine.
