Weight Loss Challenge

I am doing a weight loss challenge this summer. And I volunteered to be a leader of the team, not thinking that they would actually need me. Turns out they did need me. So now I guess you could say it is the blind leading the blind. Although, it does seem to be going well so far. I’ve lost 2.9 pounds in the first week. I’m hoping that during this challenge I can lose at least ten pounds. I would prefer to lose twenty or more, but I’m setting the goal lower and hoping to go beyond. Mainly I just want to get healthy. During the summer challenge on Spark People, I’ve also been doing two other challenges, I started them at the same time and I’m using them to propel my weight loss. I’m doing the 30 day squat and ab challenges. I cannot believe how hard it is to do ab exercises.

But my goals are pretty simple:
*lose 10+ pounds
*complete 30 day AB challenge
*complete 30 day squat challenge
*get some form of cardio exercise everyday
*do wall pushups everyday (hoping that I’ll get the strength to do real ones)
*drink at least 8 cups of water a day (up from 1-2)
