Saturday and Sunday

Sunday, June 16, 2013

Saturday was a good day..my friend Jenn taught the 10 am Zumba class and it was so much fun...she has a wonderful sense of timing and style. Then after class we ran a few errands before I went home to putter and get ready for a birthday dinner.

My left leg is still cvery achy so I will call the orthopedic surgeon that I go to and make an appt. I have to skip Zumba tomorrow due to a work meeting at the college. I am hoping with a few days of rest, my leg will be ready to dance again.

Today we celebrated Father's Day by going to Elk Neck State Park in Maryland and hiking...slowly in honor of my sore leg.

We had a tremendous storm in the evening..check out my rose!

Here is a picture of the double rainbow.

Here is a view from the trail.

I love Elk Neck. Mostly because we used to go camping there back in the 60s. I wonder, do they still allow that?

I just Googled it ... they do! Nice that some things are the same 45 years later.

WooHoo, the poor rose must have been very cold. So far we have not had very much. The storm you had went out to sea, Now I imagine we will be told rain tomorrow. I do not mind my yard work today needs some heavy rain or an hour of sprinkling.
