I am so frustrated!!! I don't know what the heck is going on with me lately!? I am feeling... Well I'm feeling depressed and stressed. What the heck is going on with me? I mean seriously no matter what I do I just don't feel right. I think I might b dealing with more then th seasonal depression. I would of thought that once I got into the sun some more every thing would of been better. I just feel like I am struggling to keep out of a dark hole.

Physically I am still plugging away on my workouts but have not seen the dang scale move for 3 weeks. I got frustrated enough to say screw it for a week and a half. I'm hating every part of it really. I was suppose to do body building today, but said screw it because I didn't sleep well at all last night. grrr.

Sorry this is a negative post. :(

HI Hon !!! We all hit plateau's at times,,,, and they ARE frustrating !!! TO THE MAX !!!! But, it CAN be worked with. First to realize the NSV (Non Scale Victories) ,,, such as do you measure urself? And see if the inches are going down? OFtEN they ARE !!!! These are soooo important to recognize. Also as has been mentioned,, how much more exercise you CAN DO Now than you could say even 6 months ago. How does ur skin look? Clearer? Brighter? Younger? (LOL Depending of course on age !)

Depression is an aweful space to be in. Been there once for well over 7 yrs,,,it was HORRENDOUS !! Til we finally found a med that worked and has for now well over 6 yrs,,, every blue moon, I get the BRILLANT IDEA of "going off it to see how WELL I AM !!" and had just done so, just to realize "GO BACK ON IT FOOLISH ONE !!" LOL LOL LOL always a learning tool. I am so THANKFUL I have a med that DOES Work and without side affects for myself. Its an MAOI,, which they DO NOT like to do unless NOTHING else works. Keep up with it,,,,,,,,,and we shall see you later on

Sorry to hear you are having a tough go of it right now. Maybe you could go and talk to someone professionally. there are different things that can be causing your depression.
My scale hasn't been moving either. But I know its' because I am not eating as well as I should and the only reason it hasn't gone up is the fact that I have increased my physical activity.

    Best of luck.

I am not sure if you are frustrated because you are depressed, or frustrated that you feel you have hit a plateau, or frustrated/edgy because of lack of sleep. Maybe it is all of them. So lets try something.....How much weight have you lost? Looks like 25 pounds to me - dang good, and that's progress, based on some of your pictures on your spark page it looks like you have lost some inches too, again another nice success. You indicated also that you were walking more and eating healthier also. These are successes as well. Remember your mantra - it was something about it taking a million little successes as I recall. Well, you have quite a few little successes. So don't get down on yourself. Everyone has a bad day, I will even give you two if you need it. And I am happy to hear you are still working out mostly even when you don't feel like it. But don't sabotage yourself. You have already shown you can have success at this. It is not a race, slow and steady works just as well (in fact some would argue it is even better). Take a day, do something that is relaxing and makes you happy as a reward for these successes. Then come back at it renewed. Take care my friend. emoticon emoticon

Every once in a while in spite of our best efforts progress seems hard to come by. The lack of sleep probably makes you feel even worse. You will start moving forward ! Just keep on plugging along !

    *BIG HUGS*

I’m sorry you are going through this but please know that it will pass. It seems like you’ve hit a plateau in your weight loss, even though it may seem frustrating you WILL get over this plateau! Change up what you’ve been doing exercise wise and try something new. Also, take time to do something you absolutely LOVE to cheer yourself up. Retail therapy, walks in the park, go for a swim, etc. whatever makes you smile and gets your mind off of things.

Remember “this too shall pass”… You’ll be back on top in no time!
