Update on my stair climbing streak

Saturday, June 15, 2013

I've continued climbing the Eiffel Tower everyday.
I'm on day 36 of my climbing streak - at least 1655 stairs a day
and day 76 of my exercise streak.

Just so I have a record, here's what I've accomplished since I last posted my daily stairs -

6/2 - 1916
6/3 - 2706 (finished climbing Mt. Rainier - 19,210 stairs)
6/4 - 2031
6/5 - 1827
6/6 - 2172
6/7 - 2238
6/8 - 2398
6/9 - 2226
6/10 - 2574
6/11 - 2048 (Climbed the Great Pyramids of Giza - 1563 stairs)
6/12 - 2275 (I finished climbing Mt. Everest for the 2nd time this day - 77,410 stairs total)
6/13 - 2171
6/14 - 1828
6/15 - 1874

Total since May 11th - 83,605 stairs!

I've also got a total of 490,518 steps (includes the stairs) and 224.0 miles.
My Striiv says I've burned a total of 71,573 calories in the past 1 month and 5 days.

My sister, who has joined me climbing stairs finished climbing Mt. Everest for the first time today. Yeah Dina!

See you on the trail...

That is truly awesome!!! I got a Fitbit about a year ago, and one of the things it measures is floors climbed. It doesn't measure stairs but it measures changes in altitude. This has been a very motivating measurement for me, especially since I live in a hilly neighborhood. I've come to feel that walks around my neighborhood are much more valuable than walks around my municipal oval (kind of like a high school track).

    Keep it up!!!

That is just amazing - you go girl! I am inspired by you and your little striiv. I have a fit bit - and kinda would love a striiv (it sounds so awesome) but perhaps I will add it to my little arsenal later on. Keep on going - you are doing awesome!
