More a journal than a blog - nobody responds

Saturday, June 15, 2013

Well, that is okay. Journaling is good for you. I am down 13 lbs from my first office visit with the plastic surgeon, I still go in for my post op visits even though I did not get the tissue glu the researcher still collects information on how I am healing. I still have a lot of swelling lower bad and especially mons from the lymph drainage but I am really starting to love my new shape. Almost all my baby stretch marks are gone and I no longer have a muffin top! Shorts from last summer look great on me now and the nurse at the doc's office tells me that it will only continue to improve. I am using a silicone gel (125.00) that actually seems to work great for healing the scar. My belly button, although cute as a button, is an "innie" and still stretched tight.

I guess I am starting to think it was all worth it.i am not 100% back yet and could only do 10 crunches yesterday but that is a major improvement from having to log roll out of bed every morning after the surgery.

I still would like to chat with others so we can compare experiences. Also, please dr me a note if you have any questions.
