I've tracked calories and exercise for two weeks. My original calorie goal allowed more calories than I needed to feel satisfied. I'm lowering my calorie goal to 1500-1600 calories daily. Unlike strenuous exercise, my long easy walks don't spike my appetite so I don't have to increase my food allowance. Problems encountered: no resistance to salty crunchy snacks, harder to count calories and restrict enough when away from home. Solutions: don't keep salty snacks on hand, and be sure I have good meal options at home at all times (don't run out of bread & PB!)

    I don't have many trigger foods in the house because I tend to binge on them. It's always a good idea to have healthy snacks on hand!
