We only got a Staples about a year ago and it is quite a distance from us. We have many other long time local health food stores and they are very competitive so the "outsiders" coming in - the Fresh Place, and then Sprouts and Whole Foods Market are so over priced, it's ridiculous. The Fresh Place actually went under after Sprouts came in... so I do occasionally go to Sprouts for their "loss leaders" (the seasonal fruits and veggies)....but that's usually in connection to other stops in the big town...not driving in all that way for a short list!

I rarely buy tilapia - too many come from farms rather than the field... and too many I can taste the mud and basically unclean situations they were grown in ... and many restaurants, when I quizzed them about where their tilapia was sourced, it was from overseas farms... eww!!

But we have bought WONDERFUL Salmon at Sprouts and usually from Aldi's (there are several Aldi's within the closer ranges to my house before I get anywhere close to Sprouts...). But at least when I travel and a place has a Sprouts, I know I can get some decent food!!

I was curious about your list since I am trying to eat healthier. Is this list pretty comprehensive? I don't eat the best and need to change the way that eat. If this list is pretty comprehensive, I will try it. Any ideas for me? Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have a great week. emoticon

I have just discovered kale in the last few years and love it. It is so versatile. I have even baked it in the oven sprinkled with olive oil. It goes crispy and delicious Yum.

Every thing you have on your list is on mine plus I am putting cupcakes (I bake them) on my list, because I am having kids here most of the summer. We will also have roasted hot dogs and smores.

Great list. I've started buying frozen raspberries to add to my oatmeal or just eat a few when I get home.

You can do my grocery shopping with this list ... add cashew butter and almond butter by the peanut butter and include your favorite reipe to go with the tilapia.
    Good foods!!
