"Always continue the climb. It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it."

Ella Wheeler Wilcox

I wasn't familiar with Ella Wheeler Wilcox. Wikipedia states that she was a turn of the century poet/author. She's very right about this quote. That's what this is all about on SP. Especially maintenance....continuing the climb. It IS possible for us to do lose the weight, to get healthy and lastly to maintain our goal weight PERMANENTLY despite the odds. I can't speak for anyone but myself but yes, in my case, it can only be achieved through reliance on God's daily help.

Had a real good day. The weather was beautiful!! Such a big change from yesterday when it was so hot/muggy. Tomorrow ~ LOTS of garage sales!!!!!!! Fun!!

A HUGE Woo Hoo!!!! I got 10 pts. on the log in spin and 25 pts. on the extra spin!!!!!!!!!!!!

And for sure it's all about getting to know ourselves! I find that all the things I used to say "I can't do that" -- well -- now I can! And it was because of the effort into making it happen! Overcoming those obstacles.

I'm in maintenance as well, and it's still a learning curve, which is GOOD. Learning = progress.

    HUGS and smiles.
