thurs. june 13

Getting up is not very inspiring...achey and cripping along til my feet get in gear...thankfully they do get in gear..and I am off to the barn...after feeding and medicating my old girls..the companion dogs. The baby sheep happily eat their fill from a full bucket while I tend ponies and johnny b, the old grandram.
I spent a couple of hours preparing for the drives...cleaning the track and grooming ponies. Bright had come to me obviously wanting attention and ready to work. All three were dreamboats today..soft and resonsive to our half halts and cues. The sun was warm and a mild constant breeze kept the working conditions very comfortable. Breakfast was a quaker osts cinamon bar at 140 cal and coffee at8:30 and the next time I ate was 4 pm...an egg sandwich....navy bean and ham soup for dinner and added cherry preserves with butter melted to whest chex..for a fast sort of cherry crunch and back to the barn to feed and water ...9:30 to bed and headed to a wake up of3:30...2:30 I will get up briefly to give cheer her thyroid med so it doesnt interfere with her antibiotic for her bladder infection..so goodnite all.
